{for japan with love}

Moments after we stepped off the plane from Guatemala we heard news of Japan’s earthquake & Tsunami. I’ve been in a bit of a whirlwind of culture shock for a few days so the reality of Japan’s tragedy had really not sunk in. As more heart wrenching images & stories surface, I cannot stand by any longer. There are numerous organizations making great efforts to help the thousands of people without homes, food, water and warmth. Tonight, I have pledged to work with ShelterBox, an organization that provides the most basic of shelter to families…one at a time.

I have joined the ‘Bloggers Day of Silence’ so we all can take time to absorb this great loss and then rise up to help in any and every way we can. It’s a simple truth…if we all give a little…

Please take a moment to donate any amount that you can. Thank you for caring.
